When Simran and Jashen began envisioning their wedding, their hearts were set on the breezy, sun-kissed charm of Goa — a perfect sundowner celebration by the sea. However, with family members traveling from different parts of the country, especially elderly guests, the logistics of a destination wedding became a challenge. That's when we reimagined their dream — not in Goa, but right here in Amchi Mumbai.
Mumbai, with its stunning coastline and vibrant energy, offered the perfect canvas to recreate that Goan magic. We curated a breathtaking sea-facing venue that captured everything the couple had envisioned — the sound of waves, the golden hues of the setting sun, and a relaxed, beachside ambiance that felt like a true escape.
What made this wedding even more special was the beautiful blend of two cultures — Marathi and Punjabi traditions coming together in a heartfelt celebration of love. Each ceremony reflected its own unique charm, yet flowed seamlessly into one cohesive experience.
While the plan initially included multiple outdoor functions, Mumbai's soaring temperatures posed a real challenge. The heat made it difficult to comfortably host all ceremonies in open spaces. But sometimes, the best moments come from the most unexpected decisions.
One of the key wedding ceremonies was eventually shifted outdoors — and it turned out to be pure magic. As the sun dipped into the horizon, the entire setting transformed. The natural light, the ocean backdrop, and the carefully curated décor created an atmosphere that was nothing short of surreal.
