Anant and Radhika’s European Extravaganza: A Closer Look at the Pre-Wedding Cruise

The wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, dubbed the “wedding of the millennium,” showcased extravagant contributions from event planners, luxurious attire from the attendees, and opulent decorations. Well, according to Nitin Chaudhary, founder of NC Financial Advisory Services, the estimated cost of the wedding is between Rs 4,000-5,000 crore. 

Event Planning and Decorations: The event design started from the invite for Anant & Radhika’s Wedding. Which was a bundle of opulence celebrating our roots & tribute to our arts & Culture. The event was meticulously planned and executed, featuring contributions from high-profile planners known for their  stunning floral designs. 60 floral animal sculptures, including tigers, elephants, and replicas of the couple’s dogs, using between 100,000 to 200,000 flowers for each sculpture. The flowers were majorly sourced from India, adding a cultural touch to the decorations​.

They celebrated their two 3-day Pre Wedding in style

Day 1 was themed ‘An Evening in Everland’ where the venue was converted into a glass palace, representing Radhika’s favorite spot in New York City—the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. With India’s Largest drone show with 5500 drones at one time in the sky Shining the story of Vantara

Day 2 was the ‘ Mela Rouge’ with a walk on the wild side. With 1500 guest  shared with complete audio-guide systems and dress in Jungle fever Theme attire. Later that  evening the hosted the Mela Rouge with the original concept of the Moulin Rogue.

Day 3 ‘Tusker Trails’ was the formal hastakshar. Where the guest doomed on Indian Heritage art and culture. With Neeta Ambani performed   Bharatnatyam  adding to the dignity of the night

The 3 day Pre wedding was followed by Second Pre Wedding – 4days Cruise in Europe which say some of the most beautiful themes

  • A Roman Holiday and Toga Party
  • Le Masquerade ball followed by the after party themed after-party called “Pardon My French.”
  • La Dolce Vita

Soon after the Pre weddings, began the Sangeet followed by the Haldi and Grah  shanti pooja before the Subh Vivah.

  • Sangeet was a full Bollywood night
  • Haldi created the epic full real flower weaved dupatta in which Radhika Merchant looked Radiant. She created a style of the season for the other brides to follow
  • Subh Vivah  “An Ode to Varanasi,” The wedding venue at Jio World Centre has been transformed to bring the essence of the streets of Banaras to life. Guests were immersed in the vibrant traditions, flavors, and spirituality of the city through carefully curated stalls and dedicated guest services. The fashion at the Ambani-Merchant wedding was a stunning display of India’s diverse and rich cultural heritage

Attendees’ Clothing

The guests, which included Bollywood celebrities, Indian cricketers, global business leaders, and international celebrities, donned some of the most luxurious and fashionable attire. Traditional Indian wear was prevalent, with intricate designs and rich fabrics. Many guests wore outfits designed by leading fashion designers, showcasing a blend of contemporary and traditional styles​
